energizer bunny

On the road all day today doing errands like one heck of an energizer bunny. Early rising to go to this therapist whose supposedly could fix up my ankle in a zap, then off to Sundjoyo to get stuff measured for my soon-to-be-in-laws, then late lunch with my fiancee at Gourmet Garage, then meet up with my mother to a lamp store, fabric store and tailor to get my fiancee a suit made.. then, what else? Home. I'm so tired. Just in time to watch CSI NY though.

Oh, and here is in continuation to my Singapore trip story - visiting my friend and her new-born baby boy, Carlo (no.. he's not the one on the first photo):

June 2009 Wish Lists

This is my June 2009 wish lists.

All looks great to be worn mix and matched with any summer bright colored items - for work, to the beach, sunday BBQ, to the mall, etc. Tres Chic!

( clockwise - top to bottom, left to right: Lanvin key west sunglasses, House of Harlow 1960 necklace, Twenty8Twelve gray cheri blouse, Siwy hannah ripped jeans, Edun grass collar ainsley dress, Mystique sandal, Sass and Bide gray tunic dress)

I Don't Like Monday

Bob Geldof sang "I Don't Like Monday". So why should I sing a different tune on Monday? I hate Monday mornings in particular. Because it reminded me that the weekend is completely over and we all have to do hectic week days all over again.

This is me. At work.

Pizza e Birra

Saturday night is date night.

Went to this place in The Plaza, Plaza Indonesia called:

It's a new trendy joint where all the cool people hangs. Haha. Kidding. It's a cool place with out of the ordinary selections of food (imagine this: pizza with chili con carne topping! but amazingly delish!). Cozy place too and unique decor. Although when I went there the service were a little slow. I have to ask the waiter a couple of times for my order and the check. Unbelievable!

The waiting line goes on forever. But it's worth to try. I had the Angry Cheese grilled pizza (or something along that line.. it is folded pizza with chili con carne and cheddar cheese filling).

tribute to legends

Like a comet
Blazing across the evening sky
Gone too soon

Like a rainbow
Fading in the twinkling of an eye
Gone too soon

Shiny and sparkly
And splendidly bright
Here one day
Gone one night

Like the loss of sunlight
On a cloudy afternoon
Gone too soon

Like a castle
Built upon a sandy beach
Gone too soon

Like a perfect flower
That is just beyond your reach
Gone too soon

Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
Here one day
Gone one night

Like a sunset
Dying with the rising of the moon
Gone too soon

model behavior

There's no particular reason in posting this. My friend made this and it looked cool. So. Enjoy.

procrastinating day

Yeah. It's procrastinating day at work today. "EI" and "AG" went off to Mangga Dua to buy some stuff (which I'm assuming is for the wedding). I really don't feel like tagging along anyway, other than the fact my ankle hasn't healed to its fullest. My therapist said I shouldn't be walking too much or do anything too strenuous that might put more pressure on it. So. I know particularly that "AG" won't wait up for me if I walk too slow there, she has low tolerance on patience (haha *wink*).

Anyway. Just for your information, I kind of sprained my right ankle about one or so week ago, in case I haven't mentioned it before. Why? Well, I fell stupidly to put it mildly. On the staircase at this local mall called Townsquare. I don't even wanna go back telling you the reason why I fell those steps. Afterwards, I've been doing some physiotherapy:

And so dear readers, here's what my ankle looked like right after the fall:
(well, not exactly right after the fall, because after the fall, I'm still able to walk around therefore I, again, stupidly, continued my mall trip.. not the smartest move, I know)

I don't know. I thought I might share this joyful (not) experience with you. Cheers.

Last weekend I went to Singapore for a short business/leisure trip. During the time-offs I went to accompany my mother to (many) fabric stores. Here's what caught my attention:

Ah yes. Simply fabulous. Made me want to grab a whole bunch of 'fake fur' fabrics in leopard, zebra, etc. in varied colors.

By the way, being a loyal customer to this one particular hotel chain, we received major room upgrade. How cool is that? I'm not really sure why, but all I can think of is "how fab is that!" I shared the connecting room with my aunt, while the main room is occupied by my parents. I got too excited that I started taking pictures ridonkulously. Haha.
