Athens, Greece Pt.5

So. Day 5 in Athens. On our 5th day, we went sightseeing around the city. We walked everywhere. By the end of our trip, our feet felt sore like you have no idea! Any-who. Day 5 we spent it by going to the Byzantine Museum (it's how Christianity reached Athens or something along the line like that). We only get to see one section because they're renovating the other section. So that was a bummer.

Believe you me. These are real GOLD. So beautiful.

Top right is what the people used back then for bathing. In Indonesian this is called Gayung.
After an exhausting day of museum-hopping, went for some retail therapy at this fancy area called Voukourestiou Street where you can find upscale boutique (international branded items from Christian Dior, Prada, Louis Vuitton to eclectic local designer shops). Here are some boutiques that I stopped by - such a shame we're not allowed to take pictures inside, oh wellz.

Nine Below has some excellent selections of local designer and Danish designers. I bought a chic black wrap dress from a Danish designer in which I'll post the picture later. The sales lady was also very chic and trendy, very nice and helpful.

After some major retail therapy, went for frappe at a cute little cafe in Syntagma Square. Since I don't drink coffee, I had the crema milkshake (that's vanilla for you!) and it was oh-my-God so absolutely delicious!

On our way back to the hotel, we stopped by at this cute little kebab place called Ice Grill. We had two kebabs to go. Very delicious!
