What I Need Now a pair of great black skinny jeans.

Like the one from J Brand below:

My old black skinny jeans must already retired. It doesn't look so hot anymore and its already worn out. Must search for a new pair this weekend. It really is a must. I'm bored with blue dark denims.

Shopping in Hong Kong

I managed to find some really cute boutiques and places to shop in Hong Kong on my one-day-powershopping-day. I consider this as a must go-to-shopping-places when you go to Hong Kong:

  • Ecols (8-10 Gough Street, Sheung Wan, Central) -- everything they sell are eco-friendly and made from organic materials.
  • OnPedder (20 Pedder Street, Central)
  • H&M (68 Queen's Road, Central) -- the biggest H&M store you can find in Hong Kong.
  • Fashion Walk (47 Paterson Street, Causeway Bay) -- just walk around the block because there are lots of cool boutiques along the way such as: Freshold, Isabel Marant, IT, and many more.
  • Island Beverley (1 Great George Street, Causeway Bay) -- this is what you can call a convenient shopping place or a one-stop shopping place. Its a 4 level building that has many little cute boutiques inside selling mostly girly stuff that I thought were very edgy.
Hope this info helps! Adios!

Hong Kong

This is it. I want to return some day.

Day 1 -- Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong.

Amazing view from our room.
Day 2 -- Disneyland Hong Kong (it may not be as big as the one in California or Florida, but when there's Disneyland, you just have to go).

Mickey Mouse coffee pudding. Where else can you find a fine dining Chinese restaurant but in Disneyland Hong Kong!

"It's A Small World"

New Years Party at the Blue Bar, Four Seasons Hotel.
The DJ (his name is Aldo). The songs? I wanted to leave immediately.
And then these. (I'm obviously confused)
Went to Under the Bridge Crab (or something along that line) restaurant for a 2AM meal. Check out the huge claw on that crab! It was delicious, too!
It was quite a feast for a 2AM dining experience.
Always packed.
Day 3 -- went to Shenzhen, just about 45 minutes away from Hong Kong.

Day 4 was well spent. We went on a one-day-powershopping-trip and then we had dinner to celebrate our last night at Lei Garden, the best Chinese restaurant I've ever had. I was too tired (my feet and back was sore) to take pictures. So.

Hope you all have a great new years celebration! Welcome 2010!!

Welcome 2010

Can I just start by saying:

What did I do for the New Years? Well, we (as in my parents, husband, brother and I) went to Hong Kong. I was super excited as I've never been. These are a glimpse of Hong Kong through my lens so far.

Heavy duty traffic, man. This is in Langham area. Very "Rush Hour" movie. You know, the one with Jackie Chan in it? Haha.
Many tall buildings, packed street, fashionable people, everyone seemed to be in a rush every day.. Kind of like New York in a way.
More pictures on the next blog post. Adios!
