Pregnant Style: Out and About

I'm sure by now most of you readers has probably already know that I'm currently happily expecting a baby. And being pregnant, I'm all about comfort in the way I dress myself these days. But does being pregnant means that one must sacrifice one's sense of fashion? No!

I love fashion too much to sacrifice the way I look just because I'm pregnant. Of course, there are some clothing items that as a pregnant woman, you just can't get away with. So I've been admiring and taking notes from the following pregnant celebrities for chic fashion inspirations:

DAY LOOK - OUT AND ABOUT

I've been living comfortably enough in my leggings, long flowy tunic tops, baby doll dresses, chic thin long cardigans, ballet flat shoes and chic sandals. I've also been overdosing in accessories, fantabulous handbags and silk printed scarves. I've been pretty fortunate enough to not gain a lot of pregnancy weight-gain so I can still wear most of my old clothes. Just a matter of smart chic mix and match here and there, not looking SLOPPY. I have this mental rule of having to look effortlessly put together when I leave the house. So if you're like me, take these fashion inspirations for yourself! Embrace your pregnancy fabulousness!

Against Domestic Violence

I encountered a very moving words this morning posted by one of my friends and I thought I'd share it with you.

"While you SCREAM at your woman, there's a man wishing he could talk softly to her ear. While you HUMILIATE, OFFEND and INSULT her, there's a man flirting with her and reminding her how wonderful she is. While you HURT your woman, there's a man wishing he could make love to her. While you make your woman CRY, there's a man stealing smiles from her."

If you're against Domestic Violence, post this back or send it to the wonderful women in your life.

May (and April) 2010 Wish Lists

I know I haven't been super productive with the whole blog-updating thing for a while now. It's not that I have lost the passion, but more because I've been feeling exhausted and tired the last couple of weeks due to this pregnancy.

Anyway, enough excuses. Since I didn't put my April 2010 wish lists last month, I'm going to put April and May together. These are my wish-lists which I thought are very appropriate for Spring going to Summer! Yay summer! It's all very breezy, all about neutral colors (beige, white, cream, black) and a bold splash of color (blue, red, gold, orange, yellow -- colors that definitely scream "hello summer!"), and definitely all about light materials.

1. Alexander McQueen swarovski crystal snake necklace
2. Donna Karan belted linen-blend jacket
3. Richard Nicoll crepe de chine silk mini dress
4. Adam sleeveless silk blouse
5. Steven Alan lou lou woven playsuit
6. Sass and Bide don't go breaking my heart top
7. Steven Alan perry linen-blend dress
8. Chloe lambskin leather shorts
