Trick or Treat

My baby is only 2 months old I can't exactly leave him yet to go off partying to celebrate Halloween. So I decided to dress my little boy with a teddy bear costume. His face may look disinterested only because he doesn't understand and he's rather feeling sleepy ;)

Happy Halloween everyone! Happy creep-day!

Elizabeth and James

A clothing line created by the famous twins MaryKate and Ashley Olsen named after their siblings. I find this clothing line very chic and edgy, easy to be mixed and matched, versatile enough to go from day to night.

Here are some of my favorites:

Soma ruched tulle dress

Ruched leather ankle boots

New Sculptor's ruched velvet skirt

Marion silk blouse

Kyra cashmere-blend batwing cardigan

Cutout leather peep-toe sandals

Bonfire belted crepe shirt

Pray for Indonesia

We are in mourning period. Merapi mountain have erupted as well as Mentawai Tsunami have bombarded my beloved country in such a short period of time. Many suffered as the result of this natural disaster.

Please pray for our safety. Pray for Indonesia.

by the way...

Are you wondering if I ever gotten any of the stuff on my wish lists for my birthday? I didn't get them all obviously. But my lovely husband got me the "Facehunter" book and a brand new, very beautiful stainless food mixer! I can't wait to start baking again. Once I have the time that is.

I also got a gift a brand new laptop from my parents. Well, actually they just gave me the money and let me pick out my own laptop. Once I have the time to actually browse the shop for one that is.

I'm planning to give a birthday treat for myself a fab new designer handbag. I've been saving up enough money for it. Wait and see ;)

Pre-Occupied

I've been so pre-occupied nursing and caring for my son (not giving in to nanny-hood yet!) that I haven't had the chance to actually sit in front of my computer long enough to update anything.

Motherhood is something new and foreign to me. I've been taking each day one step at a time learning of becoming a mother. I can tell you this, it's TOUGH man! Very exhausting at times, but (get ready to barf if you must) its all worth it in the end when I look at his face, touched his tiny fingers, tickle him and he smiled at you, stared you straight in the eyes. It's a feeling that I can't quite explain.

As our traditional custom, after 40 days since the birth of a child, one must celebrate by cutting a little bit of the baby's hair.

That's all from me for now. Don't worry, I won't be turning this blog page ranting on and on about mommyhood and baby stuff. Okay, maybe once in a while. Haha. But I'll be back with other exciting posts!

Adios!
