Remember September

I'm a bit sad that September is almost over for this year. It was a great month if I say so myself. A lot of exciting things happening this month: the amazing American family vacation, my birthday, baby A and my joint birthday party (although mostly its all about him more than myself haha!).. all the little things that happened. Anyway, life goes on, this is a wish for myself as I looked into the mirror on my birth day:

"Happy Birthday gorgeous! Today's a new day, it's gonna be awesome from here on.. Make the most of it!"

love. love. love.

Here are some of my absolute fave purchases during my California trip.

J Brand skinny leg jeans in Royal Blue (back to size 27 baby!)
Oliver Peoples tortoise-shell sunglasses
iPad 2 (an early birthday gift for myself!)
Pour la Victoire black leather bag (see here)
Balenciaga button flats in Baby Blue
American Apparel Rosette Sweater in Dark Pink

re-cap California part 9

Our last couple of days in Los Angeles, we spent it strolling around town with Melrose being our main stop. Went to Fred Segal (where I met Jane Krakowski from 30 Rocks though I did not took any pictures with her because when I was about to baby A did "No. 2" so we had to rush to the bathroom. bummer.), Opening Ceremony and a few others awesome boutiques. Made a short coffee break at this awesome cafe in Rodeo Drive (right across McCormick and Schmick.. I forgot the name) then on the last day we actually spent the rest of the day at Whole Foods. I love supermarkets in America. I'm like a kid in a candy store when going to the supermarkets. Also we went to the Grauman's Chinese Theatre. It was fun.

It was bittersweet on the day we had to go to the airport. The weather was all gloomy since morning. Anyway. We had a great vacation, and hopefully we get to come back real soon!

The End.

Ahoy Sailors!

We celebrated baby A's belated 1st birthday party and on behalf of my birthday yesterday (Sept 24th). It was a fun day. We decided on a Nautical Sailor party. Baby A even wore two costumes that day: Ship Captain and a Sailor boy! Super cute!

The thing about this party, I'm not really into birthday clowns (as they creeps me out) and having MC (I don't think kids would pay much attention to them anyway, except maybe if they're a bit older than 5 years old, duh). Therefore I decided on having a mini playground laid out instead with fish pool (with live fishes!) and face/tattoo painting in our pool area. I let all those kids run wild and get busy themselves. And they were having tons of fun!

re-cap California part 8

Back in Disneyland part 2. My brother didn't get to go first time around, so we decided on our way back from Vegas to LA, we'd make a stop at Anaheim to visit Disneyland once again. Don't mind if I do!

I reckon Disney has the best tasting hot dog ever. But that's just my opinion.

On our way back to LA we stopped by Knott's Berry Farm for Mrs. Knott's yummy fried chicken lunch.
