Wedding: Meiti & Bintang

Husband's aunt's wedding day last Saturday (Oct 29th 2011) at Granadi Building. She's actually still pretty young, my age actually. But she's already an aunt to my husband. Haha.

Congratulation Tante Meiti and Om Bintang on your wedding day! May you both live together happily ever after!

ps: Please ignore the incorrect date on the first two photos, I got them from husband's sister's camera (she didn't set the date and time correctly --" mind you).

The look - Pretty Tough

Here's my take on that American Apparel sweater.

I like mixing up feminine with a more edgy look. Hence the black leather shorts (Forever21) and gladiator-style leather wedge shoes (Nine West).

What do you think?

The Kiosk Bandung

For Bandung's local street food, go to The Kiosk. They've got everything from Bakso Malang, Ayam Goreng Kriuk, Lotek, Mie Kocok.. as well as some Western options. We went here for the local street food minus the dirty street. The place is so comfortable and great for hang out. The food were delicious and it was quite cheap.

(although we went to the one in Braga.. I think the one in Ciwalk is way better because the mall itself is a lot more "alive")

Hummingbird Eatery

A cozy and cute restaurant that you should try out when you go to Bandung: Hummingbird Eatery (FYI they have guesthouses too!).

The food was simply delish considering them to be not pricey.

Happy Birthday Love!

It's husband's birthday!

Just a small celebration at home with both our parents and homemade tumpeng (as his request).

Happy birthday, love! Wishing you nothing but the very best in life. I love you!

Hello Bandung!

Went to Bandung over the weekend with husband, baby A and the in-laws. The trip was actually on behalf of my husband's cousin's wedding, but it turned out to be a fun mini getaway nevertheless.

We stayed at Sensa Hotel just inside Cihampelas Walk (straight bang glued together with the outdoor mall). The hotel was new and I thought it was quite nice although they could improve the service (the staff were quite slow) and they need to maintained the airconditioning inside hotel rooms from time to time.

Anyway. Day 1 soon as we arrived, we checked in to the hotel then went straight for lunch at Hummingbird Eatery. The place was so cozy and cute, the food was excellent considering the pretty cheap price (compare to places like that in Jakarta). Afterwards I went to the hair salon to get, what else, my hair done for the wedding that night.

Day 2 woke up early to have breakfast at the hotel by the pool. If it weren't windy I would've let baby A took a dip in the pool. After we packed all our stuff and checked out, we went to lunch at The Kiosk before finally heading to The Secret to buy my parents corned beef and bratwurst sausages from this little sausage place called Just Sosis.

The trip back home was pretty long and tiring mainly due to traffic. Anyway. It was a fun trip though. Bandung, until we meet again!

out sick

Just a little update, I've been out sick and being hospitalized all last weekend. Such a bummer I know. I got myself a dengue fever. But thank God now I'm out from the hospital although the doctor have told me to take it easy for the next couple of days just so that my body can fully recover from the sickness.

It was supposed to be Bandung trip last weekend, but it had to be canceled. Oh well. There's always another time.

Come on, October. Be a little bit nicer to me why don't you?

I know this is so late, but anyway, I am beyond ecstatic with the birthday gift from my husband! Thanks love!

precious moment

Baby A now masters the art of "kiss"! Whenever I asks him to (okay, it doesn't happen all the time) give me a kiss, he would pucker up and lean in closer for a kiss. But he would often give me a slobbery kiss. Still. So adorable.

Wedding: Adhy & Grace

It's my cousin Adhy's wedding day today! He finally got married with long-time girlfriend, Grace. Being a catholic from my father's side of the family, the holy matrimony was held at Santa Maria Perawan's Church and the reception was held at Grand Mahakam hotel for family and close friends.

I'm so excited about this wedding because it's the first in my family to ever have a wedding wearing modern Western attire (with the white gloves and all!) haha.

Congratulations Adhy and Grace, may you both live happily ever after till you're both old and wrinkly haha!

Oh, and hello October.
