A.I. Phillip Phillips

Ok, mind you, I'm not really a crazy follower of American Idol, especially after last season (that was the last straw). But I thought this year they have a bunch of awesome group of performers. My favorite I have to say is none other that Phillip Phillips. He's got that sexy charm and uber cool grunge-y attitude, not to mention extremely talented.. definitely got my attention.

For the Top 13 Male performances tonight, he performed a rendition of Phil Collins' In The Air Tonight. I gotta say, it was fantabulous! It was different, sexy, sultry.. he definitely gave me shivers! Haha!

Oh and Happy Leap Day!

Say It!

Here are the 17 things every woman should say.. at least once. Very hilarious.

1. "In the wardrobe, quick!" Because jumping out to scare your friends is funny at any age.
2. "It's not me, it's you." Because sometimes a bad date needs to know the truth.
3. "I'm not wearing any panties." Even if you are. Men's reactions are hilarious. Weirdos.
4. "Don't you know who I am?" Because there's a tiny chance they might actually think you're famous.
5. "I'm so sorry I never called.." When you run into a guy who didn't call you.
6. "I WON!" Whether it's millions on the lottery or first prize at karaoke, every woman should taste victory once.
7. "I'll send my car to pick you up." We want to say this when we're 55 - to a hot date who's 25.
8. "I don't care if people are watching." Want to kiss his face off at the theater? Go for it.
9. "Thanks, I built it myself." Your dream house or an Ikea coffee table: major kudos.
10. "I'll get my people to call your people." Usually uttered by the Hollywood set - but far funnier said deadpan to your best friend.
11. "He's not my usual type, but.." You don't know it yet, but you'll probably end up marrying him.
12. "I'll have the lobster." Double cool points if you're paying the bill yourself.
13. "What are you doing down there?" Some men need a little direction in bed. Others need Very. Clear. Instructions.
14. "Cut it however you like." Your stylist will love you, you'll feel super brave - and it will grow back.
15. "Are you sure this is cooked properly?" Shortly before you come down with food poisoning. In future, you'll trust your instincts.
16. "Life's too short to stuff a mushroom." Why be a domestic goddess when you could be out having fun? Ditto making your own pastry and baking your own bread. Enough!
17. "I love you, but I love me more." The classic Samantha Jones break-up brush-off. Follow with a swift exit, leaving just a whiff of expensive perfume..

Gael Araki Dimitri

My beautiful cousin, Tisha, gave birth to a handsome baby boy on January 12th. Today they held a praying ceremony to celebrate the 40th day since baby Gael has born.

Love you so much Tisha and baby Gael!

"Dancer Face"

I stumbled upon this video while youtube-surfing. I can't stop laughing that I think I almost peed my pants. I find this super hilarious.

Well done, Rob.

Baby Shower: Mira's

A bunch of us decided to throw our best friend, Mira, a baby shower yesterday. She's already 8 months pregnant and I, we all, really can't wait to see her baby! Held at my house, it was a very fun day! We chat, feast, gossip, feast more and basically had a really great time.

Can you guess the baby's gender?

what love day?

I'm not one who succumbs to the tradition of celebrating Valentine's Day. The so-called LOVE day. Why only celebrate love in that particular one day? We should be embracing love EVERY DAY. And thank God, the husband aren't one to celebrate Valentine's Day either. Ever since we started dating, we've never celebrated Valentine's Day for as long as I can remember. We find it to be rather cheesy. Although, I admit this year, I did bought the husband a Valentine's Day gift --" no, it's not because I gave in, but because I know he really wanted that specific item for so long and I can't think of a cheesy way to gave him that thing. Haha!

Anyway. Happy Valentine's Day to those celebrating, and well, happy Red and Pink Day to those aren't celebrating.

And the Grammy goes to...

Was watching the Grammy re-run last night. Though everyone is still pretty much in mourning over the passing of Whitney Houston, the 54th Grammy Awards was still nevertheless quite festive.

Huge congratulations to one of my favorite singer ever, Adele, for her big win at the Grammy.

I really liked the live performances of the musicians at the award show, especially Foo Fighters (who won best Rock Group and Rock album!), Coldplay and Bruno Mars. Even baby A couldn't help himself to actually stood up and started to dance in bed (he refused to get a shut eye because his fave performers were performing haha!)

Whitney Houston, RIP

The world has lost another beautiful soul. Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at 3.55 PM Los Angeles time today. It was such a sad and tragic moment. She will always be loved and live in all of our hearts.

Whitney Houston (August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012)

May you rest in peace now.

B for Books

I'm not usually a fan of chicklit. But I have to say I've been a fan of Jane Green ever since I got a copy of Bookends. I like her writing style. The stories were also fun to read anytime of day. I read this book over and over without the slightest boredom in mind.

This is my next Jane Green's book. I'm planning to go on a short getaway with the husband soon, so I've decided to arm myself with a good book for that quite beach time moment haha.

bugger.

I want this and that. You want this and that. If I can't afford it at that moment I will never push it. Do you?
