Two people just meeting
Barely touching each other
Two spirits greeting
Trying to carry each further
You are one and I am another
We should be one inside each other

You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride inside my love?
You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride inside my love?

Two strangers, not strangers
Only lacking the knowing
So willing, feeling, infinite growing
While we're here the whole world is turning
We should be one fulfilling the yearning

You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride inside my love?
You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride inside my love?

Little Swimmers

Sunday morning the weather was superb. It was bright and shiny when we're expecting rain the way it has been the last couple of days. So, husband and Little A decided to go for a swim.

I didn't join in on the swimming fun, because I was about to shower and took a head start on getting ready for a wedding. Maybe I'll join in this weekend ;) So excited for next week as husband's took his annual work leave! Let's make plans..

Lust: the PS1

I have been lusting, nay, obsessing even, over this beauty of a creation: Proenza Schouler PS1 medium satchel bag.

Okay, I know it's not really intricate, delicate, or even complicated design-wise. But that's why I love 'em. I find these classic satchel styles are extremely timeless. And let's not forget functional. It has become very important to me when looking for the perfect bag. Having a toddler (an extremely active one), I need a bag that are both chic and practical. These days, I'm leaning towards those who can double as a slingbag. Why? So I can have both my hands free at times when I have to chase around my son while we went out. And the size perfect enough to store all my necessities and Little A's stuff such as baby wipes.. stuff that I need often and I don't have to rummage through his baby bag. Well, it's not like he needed a baby bag any longer when we go out. These days he only brought along a small kiddy backpack shaped like a dog from Skip*Hop to store all his necessities: change of clothes, water bottle, extra diapers/underpants, small towel, a few small toys. Anyway.

Right. Back to my lust and obsession over this particular bag. This one has win out from my other 'most wanted' bag list. It's classic, functional and chic. The only problem? I have a problem choosing which color I want most. Oh, and also, I'm still in the middle of scrimping and saving to (eventually) getting it.

Which color do you reckon I should get?

Girls Night Out

Had the long overdue girl's night out with some of my favorite girls in the world tonight! My besties since God knows how long. I rarely go out like these with my friends after having a baby.. although I still try to arrange a get-together at least once every one or two months. Mainly because I sort of have this guilt trip for leaving Little A while I'm out having fun. I don't know how most moms do it, but it's still pretty hard for me. However, I do believe that as a mom, we must not lose ourselves completely in our role of just being a 'mom'. Before we became a 'mom', we're 'someone'. I must not forget that. It's great having 'me' time once in a while.

So that's why I want to give one of my awesome girl friends, Reza, a big sloppy kiss on her cheek, for arranging this night out. It was a casual night out, we had dinner at this cozy little Italian eatery in Kemang area called aTavola. We talked and talked and talked all night. About everything. It was a great night. Can't wait for our next get-together!

(Me, Reza, Lisa, Dara, Andhita)

I love these girls to bits!

Long Weekend with the Flu

It was a long weekend for us this week. Fun! Not really. Because Little A and I got the flu. It was a mild one but still annoying. However! It didn't stop us from having a bit of fun this weekend though! On Thursday it was quarantine day for Little A. I didn't want the flu to get any worse for him. Friday we stayed at home still, the husband and I went to Poinsquare for a bit because he wanted to check out some computers. Basically, we had a chance of somewhat a 'date' afternoon. Having lunch and strolling around just the two of us. Nothing romantic, but we had a good time.

Saturday: Husband's youngest brother, Necky, is in town. He had a little break from school so we decided to meet up and had lunch together. Since Little A was feeling SO much better, we went to Grand Indonesia and had lunch at Carl's Jr. Maybe because I was still feeling unwell, I don't really have any appetite so I settle for their chicken salad, which was surprisingly delicious, and the chilli fries.

Sunday (today): Husband, Little A and myself went to this computer bazaar at Gandaria City. While at the bazaar, Little A was dancing along with the music from the DJ performing. He was having a blast, all eyes on him. In the end some sales people wanted to take pictures with him because, well, he was cute and awesome. Haha. Oh yeah, we had sushi for lunch at Sushi Tei.

We end the day (and this long weekend) with getting takeouts from Fook Yew restaurant and call it a day. It was still fun despite the nasty (mild) flu attacking both Little A and myself. But we fought it.

The look - Leather and Skeleton

Went for a little tough chic look today. Tone it down with a cream brogue shoes so as not to look too much like a biker chick because that's not really what I'm going for hehe.

Head-to-toe Topshop (black singlet top, black highwaist leather shorts, cream brogue shoes); Silla skeleton hand necklace (my cousin's label!); Burberry sport watch

Do you ever had that feeling of being lost once in your life? Not just 'lost'. But really, really lost. That you're trapped in these big fat questions of: what should I do? what can I do? what do I do? what do I want? how do I deal? But there just seems no answer coming your way. Just like that U2's song title Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of.

What should I do? I really wish it was as easy as singing it out.

Fun With Books

Today husband, Little A and I went to husband's co-worker's wedding at Balai Kartini. And then we went to lunch at Canteen, Pacific Place Mall. Afterwards, we hung out at the bookshop. Little A has a fondness of bookshop, go figure. He loves looking at books, reading them, observing, basically just hung around the bookshop (at the children's corner obviously).

Though we ended up not buying any books, it was a fun laid-back Sunday afternoon nevertheless.

On Saturday..

..went out to lunch with husband, Little A and my parents at this new Shanghai style chinese fusion restaurant called FOOK YEW! at Gandaria City Mall. The food was surprisingly delicious despite the slow service from the greeters.

The must try food are: Hong Kong Seafood Fried Noodle, Breaded Chicken Sandwich with Shanghai Mayonnaise, Spicy Beef Fried Rice.. the bubble milk tea was also yummy and refreshing, though a bit too sweet for my liking.

FYI, my fave bubble milk tea would still have to be Roasted Milk Tea from Cha Time. Anyway.

I wore Warehouse salmon satin shirt, J Brand skinny denim, my uber comfy Repetto flats and my current fave Chanel Boy bag.

From London, With Love

So my parents went on a trip to London all last week. It was a business trip for my father and my mother tagged along to accompany him. They're back in Jakarta last Wednesday bringing lots of goodies! Well, whenever they went abroad, they brought stuff mostly for Little A these days --" this time around it was no different haha.

Nevertheless, I got my share of goodies too! Check it out:

My favorite has got to be the Repetto flats obviously! I've loved Repetto for as long as I can remember. They're so comfy and comes in variety of cute colors! My mother got me this Cendrillon Ballerina Flats (patent leather) in Taupe to add to my collection. LOVE. Well, actually, I can't really call it a collection since I only have another one in black.. I had a bronze one years ago which I absolutely love and wore until it was all busted that it's no longer wearable anymore.

Thank you parents!

Seeing Red

Saturday! And wow, I can't believe it's November already. Where does all the time go? The husband, Little A and myself went to the mall this afternoon for a quick lunch and stroll.

What I wore today:

Zara top, Alexander McQueen skull scarf, Topshop skinny jeans in Cranberry, ASOS flat shoes, En Garde Artilleries necklace and (my current fave!) Chanel Boy bag.
