BLUE JEANS

Blue jeans, white shirt
Walked into the room
You know you made my eyes burn
It was like James Dean, for sure
You're so fresh to death and sick as cancer
You were sorta punk rock
I grew up on hip hop
But you fit me better than my favorite sweater
And I know that love is mean and love hurts
But I still remember that day we met in December
Oh baby

I will love you till the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember, oh baby
Say you'll remember
I will love you till the end of time

Big dreams, gangsta
Said you had to leave to start your life over
I was like, no please, stay here
We don't need no money
We could make it all work
But he headed out on Sunday
Said he'd come home Monday
I stay up waiting, anticipating and pacing
But he was chasing paper
Caught up in the game
That was the last I heard

I will love you till the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember, oh baby
Say you'll remember
I will love you till the end of time

You went out every night
And baby that's alright
I told you that no matter what you did
I'd be by your side
'Cause I'mma ride or die
Told you I wanted more
But that's not what I had in mind
Just want it like before
We were dancing all night
Then they took you away
Stole you out of my life
You just need to remember

I will love you till the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember, oh baby
Say you'll remember
I will love you till the end of time

Clarisonic Mia 2

This is a skin's best friend, I'm dead serious.

I've been wanting this Clarisonic Mia 2 Skin Cleansing Kit for a while now, and while last weekend my parents went away on a business trip to Singapore, I asked my mom to get it for me from Sephora (yes, they're available in Sephora!) yay!

So when my mother returned with the box I am super excited and couldn't wait to try it on. But of course, I had to wait a day more because the instructions clearly said to charge the Mia 2 for 24 hours before using.

Anyway. The Clarisonic Mia 2 Skin Cleansing Kit comes with the electronic cleanser, a (super soft) brush, the charger and a tube of skin cleansing foam (which I haven't used because my Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Facial Cleansing Gel still works wonder for me). The electronic cleanser is very easy to use. You just wet the brush a little and put a little bit of whatever facial cleanser that you use to the center of the brush. Once you turned the on button, it'll start vibrating and you just massage it to your face in circular motion. It'll beep once you have to move to other areas of your face (20 seconds forehead, 20 seconds nose and chin, 10 seconds on each cheek). I'm hooked after the first couple of uses and now I'm super religious with cleaning my face with this kit. The result were visible too! My skin looked more glowy and super soft, super clean as I felt there were no dirt residue left on my face. I totally recommend this kit to anyone!

Pizza Night

Last Thursday was pizza night. Our first attempt on making homemade pizza. The result was surprisingly satisfying! Okay, we might've cheated a bit on the pizza dough.. we used the Betty Crocker pizza crust mix (it had me at "simply add water"). But anyway, we made our own tomato sauce.. it's super easy and you can make it in advance and store in the fridge for up to a week or two and just use it whenever you want. We always have homemade tomato sauce stashed away in the fridge.

Back to the pizza. We made 2 medium-sized pizza. The first one is Capsicum, Cheese and Minced Beef Pizza. The second one is Extra Cheese Pizza.

Success!! I want another one as I'm typing..

blabbering

So.

Just had dinner with Little A. We had spaghetti and meat sauce with Indonesian kerupuk udang (shrimp crackers as some of you may know). Oh don't mock me on how I eat my pasta haha. Thanks to my mother, I am now forever more hooked on eating spaghetti with kerupuk instead of the Italian-way of garlic bread. I haven't been gone to the extreme like most Indonesians do, mix it up with bottled chilli sauce. Now that's just wrong in my opinion.

Anyway, I thought I'm going to do some blogging while Little A is busy playing with his Lego collection.

I really can't wait for July to arrive. What's happening on July? Our vacay-cay-cation, baby! I'm so excited, I can smell it from the distance. We've been 'sort of' busy preparing for the vacation.. such as deciding on where to stay (hotels and rented apartments) and such. It's going to be amazing. Prior to it, I'm crossing my fingers everything goes well and smoothly according to plan. It will be an amazing travel experience for Little A as well.

Ooh. 'American Dad' is on. I'm off now.

Until my next post.

Spring has Sprung

Oh. My. God.

Before I get on with anything, you have to know that I, like a lot of people out there, kept a bucket list. A list of things we want to do/accomplish in our life time.

Okay. One of the things in my bucket list is that if I ever get the chance, I would want to see Aerosmith live in concert. LIVE. Not from some live concert DVD sh*t. LIVE. Front and center. I've loved Aerosmith forever and I don't care if they're now old and wrinkly. They're still one of the best band and performers in my book. Lo and behold. God has answered my (and I bet a million other people's) prayers. Aerosmith will be coming for a concert May 11th! Woo-hoo! I am ecstatic beyond belief. I'll be sure to stand by the computer this weekend to purchase the tickets! Wish me luck!

How exciting! It's as if things are just getting better and better by the day. And I thank God for that. Things have been looking up, and I guess one of the main thing is to just keep a positive outlook on life.

Oh. My. God.

I need to get an Aerosmith t-shirt or something..

On to other aspects of my life. Little A has been going to school for almost 2 months now. It has been heart-wrenching that first few days because he would just cry everytime I had to leave him in class, but he has been awesome these days. He's much more independent and I'm proud to say, his teachers praised him on how much he shows interest in lessons and he's such an attentive student. His vocabulary lists have now gone beyond my imagination. Sometimes he'll say things and I'd just stare at him in awe at how smart my boy is!

Oh. Boy.

He's getting so big now. I guess it's time for a second one, eh? Haha.

Spring 2013: Metallics

Another Spring 2013 trend that I'm loving is the metallic. It's totally do-able for day look too! Here's my take on the look:

Warehouse top, H&M metallic skirt, ASOS flats, Chanel bag

Projects..

Yesterday I spent all morning through afternoon working on my upcoming project.. I'm super grateful to have two of my best friends willing to help out with this new project (yes, that's you I'm talking about - dara and dita!) and we had so much fun working on it! So much snacking, laughing, gossiping.. basically having a blast while working.

You'll get to see the results soon.. if you want to know more you can visit my facebook page to later see what my 'project' is all about. This is an extension of what I'm building with my business. So. I'm pretty excited about it, and wishing for your support!

Anyway. This is what happened after a non-stop work day:

Yeah.. you get the picture haha. This is only one of the pictures that we took that day. I won't even show you the rest because it's so ridiculous it's not even funny. Nevertheless, my love for them is never ending til the galaxy far far away ha!
