Happy 3rd Little A

Little A's birthday the other day! He finally turned 3! Oh god, how time flew by so fast.

Paris: Day 3 (recap)

Today is our second day in Disneyland Paris! We didn't woke up as early as we wanted to because we stayed up so late last night watching the 20th Anniversary Celebration fireworks until the wee hour. Well, okay, actually the celebration lasted until 11pm. But once we got back to the hotel, husband and I ordered some room service. We had tea and some munchies haha.

So anyway. Day 2 Disneyland we're heading to Walt Disney Studio park! They're fairly new (as mentioned in my previous post, they echoes Anaheim's Disney California Adventure Park). Sweet!

Paris: Day 2 (recap)

Day 2 in Paris and we're off to Disneyland! Woo-hoo! My no.1 favorite place in the world!

Paris: Day 1 (recap)

Woke up super early to catch our train (Thallys) to Paris and it took us approximately 2-3 hours ride. It was an awesome experience. Lugging around 8 large luggage around the train station was a fun view (not). Nevertheless, Little A was enjoying every moment of it and he wasn't fussy at all! Such a pro traveler that kid!

So I guess Adios Netherlands! Until we see you again. Next stop, PARIS!

Denhaag: Day 3 (recap)

Here we are. On our last day in Denhaag. I wish we could've stayed longer, then maybe there'd be more exciting visits to Amsterdam as well. But I guess that's for the next European trip. *crossing fingers*

Last day, we decided to take things the lazy route. Woke up a bit later than usual. Had breakfast at the hotel.. none of the shops or restaurants were open until 12pm. WHY?? Anyway. At exactly 12pm we were out of the hotel and ready for a full day of shopping. Okay, not exactly full day because shops will close at exactly 5pm. Again, WHY??

Denhaag: Day 2 (recap)

I know I've been taking too long to finish my Europe vacation story recaps, but bear with me. I'm trying to finish it as fast as I could.

So it's Day 2 in Denhaag. Big day today! Day 2 is all about family quality time: Malieveld, Volendam and Madurodam (all a must go-to place when you visit Denhaag).

Denhaag: Day 1 (recap)

It was sad to be leaving beautiful London. But our trip must go on! Woke up bright and early, Little A refused to wake up and shower. He doesn't want to leave London. So am I, but I'm super excited about heading to Denhaag and then to Paris.

After re-arranging our suitcases so as not to be overweight (FYI: the maximum baggage weight per luggage is 23kg per person) and having a speedy breakfast, we head to Heathrow Airport. We took the British Airlines and it took us approximately an hour to reach Amsterdam Schipol Airport.

London: Day 6 (recap)

Day 6 and our last day in London. Day 6 was dedicated for sightseeing and whatnot. Husband arranged for us to ride on the double-decker tour bus of London. My main goal for the day was to visit the Sherlock Holmes' museum (being a fan and all). No matter what, I was determined to go there.

Happy Ied Mubarak

It's that time of year! Happy Ied Mubarak, the end of Ramadhan month. On the 8th, we went to my grandmother's house to celebrate and had brunch of Lebaran's feast which consists of ketupat, beef rendang, chicken opor, bakso (Indonesian meatballs) and other arrays of Lebaran cookies and cakes. Then husband, Little A and myself went on to visit husband's sides of family. It was a fun tiring day. We went home with a full belly.

London: Day 5 (recap)

Hello! It's Day 5 already?? We got back to the hotel so late last night, Little A was feeling exhausted I bet, so after a brief discussion with the husband, we decided on rescheduling our 'bus tour' for the following day.

Hello August!

I'm back! I had a superb vacation. I'll be writing on my vacation recaps in another posts, I've been feeling rather exhausted and trying to get my head together again. In the meantime, I thought I'd say hello!

It's August! Awesome month. So many things ahead: the upcoming 4th wedding anniversary with husband (obviously), Ramadhan Ied Fitri celebration, and of course Little A's 3rd birthday! What an exciting month. Let's hope it'll be a great start to an awesome beginning!
